Anxiety refers to feelings of worry, apprehension, nervousness or stress that can have very strong physical symptoms. These include a rapid heartbeat, trembling/shaking, feeling faint, an upset stomach/nausea, sweating, restlessness, and difficulty concentrating. While it is normal to experience stress or worry in situations where a person feels under pressure, when these feelings don’t subside or feel unmanageable, it may be time to seek the help of a counsellor.
