Booking questions

How soon can I get an appointment?+

Usually within a week, and often sooner. Live availability is shown in the scheduler and there is no waiting list to join.

What happens straight after I book?+

You receive a confirmation email with the appointment details, a secure video link if the session is online, and a short intake form to complete beforehand.

Can I book for someone else?+

You can book on behalf of a partner or family member aged 18 or over if they know about it and agree. Clients under 18 need parent or guardian consent recorded before the first session.

What if I need to move the appointment?+

Use the link in your confirmation email, or call 1300 018 255. Changes made more than 48 hours ahead are free; the full policy is on the cancellation policy page.

How booking works

Four steps, about a minute of your time, and no phone call required unless you want one.

1. Pick a service and time

The scheduler shows live availability, including Tuesday evenings. Choose individual, couples or a program, then a time that suits. Payment is taken securely at this point and a receipt is emailed to you.

2. Complete the intake form

A short form arrives with your confirmation: what brings you to counselling, relevant history, your GP if you have one, and an emergency contact. It takes five minutes and it means the first session starts with your story rather than paperwork.

3. Your first session

Fifty minutes. We cover what is going on, what you have already tried, and what you want to be different, then agree two or three goals and a plan for approaching them.

If nothing in the calendar suits

Availability is limited to Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday because Anne sees every client herself. If the times shown do not work, send an enquiry or call 1300 018 255 and she will look at what can be moved. Occasional early-morning appointments are possible for shift workers and for clients in Western Australia or New Zealand.

Payment, rebates and receipts

Sessions are paid at the time of booking by card. A receipt is emailed automatically and can be used for salary packaging or employer reimbursement where your workplace offers it. As a registered counsellor rather than a psychologist, Anne cannot provide Medicare or private health rebates — the published fees are the full cost, with no gap and no booking fee.

Rescheduling and cancellation

You can move an appointment yourself from the link in your confirmation email up to 48 hours beforehand. Inside 48 hours a 50 per cent fee applies, and same-day changes or missed appointments are charged in full. The cancellation policy explains the reasoning and the rare exceptions.

Not sure what to book?

Book an individual session. It is the right starting point for almost everyone, and if a program such as TRTP or court-ordered anger management turns out to be the better route, the work carries across. If you would rather ask first, the FAQs cover fees, confidentiality and what happens in a first session.
