If you need help now
This practice is not a crisis service. In an emergency call 000. For immediate support, Lifeline 13 11 14 is available 24 hours.
What to expect when you get in touch
Anne answers her own enquiries. There is no reception desk, no call centre and no triage form, which means a reply usually arrives within one business day — Monday to Wednesday, and on Thursday for anything that lands over the weekend.
What helps to include
You do not need to explain everything up front. A sentence about what is going on, whether you are looking for individual or couples work, and the days or times that suit you is enough to get a useful reply. If you have a preference for online or in person in Melbourne, say so.
What happens next
You will get a direct answer about whether this practice is the right fit, a recommendation of where to start, and the current availability. If Anne is not the right clinician for what you are dealing with — a diagnosis, an assessment, a Medicare-rebated pathway, or care that needs a psychiatrist — she will say so plainly and point you toward the right service. See scope and referral information for the detail.
Confidentiality of your enquiry
Your enquiry is treated as confidential from the first message. Email and the enquiry form are not encrypted end to end, so send only what you are comfortable putting in writing; anything sensitive can wait for the session itself. The privacy policy sets out what is stored, for how long and who can access it.
If you need help sooner
This is not a crisis service and enquiries are not monitored after hours. If you need to speak to someone now, Lifeline is on 13 11 14 and the Suicide Call Back Service on 1300 659 467, both 24 hours. In an emergency call 000. The resources page lists the full set of free services.
